2 days to create a residential house: 3D printers help build houses

A couple of years ago, “Native American” (as SLY_G put it in his post ), Andrei Rudenko began building concrete models of medieval castles in Minnesota, USA. These were quite large models, with a base area of 3 * 5 meters. To create such a lock, not a concrete mixer and a shovel, but a specially designed 3D printer was used. The locks themselves were also created not for the game, but for practicing the construction process. Andrey planned to build residential houses in the same way.

And now these plans are being translated into reality. The other day on YouTube was posted video, which shows the process of building a residential house. It is about creating the main frame, which, after finishing works, adding power lines, plumbing, etc. turns into a really residential building. And for comparison, the usual process of building a house is shown. By the way, the frame using a 3D printer was rebuilt in just 48 hours.

The creator of the process of printing houses has engineering and architectural education, it helps a lot in the design process. In addition, homes are created in compliance with safety regulations and other requirements of the relevant authorities. The buildings that Rudenko builds are resistant to hurricanes and even tornadoes.

Here is what Andrei Rudenko himself tells in the comments about the composition of the mixture and the printer on YouTube: “The composition of the mixture is quite simple, but it requires very careful selection of proportions depending on the type of sand and climate. A little bit wrong proportion and everything ... so we are working on a fully automatic mixing system with different humidity, temperature, weight sensors, etc ... The printing system is expensive because it includes many components (automatic solution unit, pumps, etc.) . It does not make sense to talk about the cost of individual parts, everything will work well only in a set, it is useless to try to use, for example, an ordinary concrete mixer (we tried). "

But the old video is still about building locks (it looks like the video was recorded from the TV screen, so the quality is not very good):

After the castles, Andrew has already managed to test his technology in commercial construction in the Philippines. He created an extension to the hotel , with columns and a jacuzzi (in general, the previous version was very similar to the current one).
