In Innopolis opened a lyceum for future IT-specialists
In the boarding school for future IT specialists in Tatarstan Innopolis recruited 101 people , this number will increase more than three times later. The Lyceum will open 24 classrooms and subject laboratories, where schoolchildren will be taught in English by professors and teachers of Innopolis University.
The Minister of Education of the Republic of Tatarstan considers it particularly important that the Lyceum of Information Technologies was opened on the basis of the university, which is the federal platform for testing new educational programs for the bachelor’s degree, writes Rossiyskaya Gazeta .
Gifted children from 7th to 10th grades were admitted to the school at Innopolis. Children will be taught, including professors, the educational program will be synchronized with the university and will be formed taking into account foreign practice. Lyceum students will have the opportunity to continue their studies at the university, and some will receive grants to study at Innopolis University.

Teaching from the 8th grade will be in English. The program provides in-depth study of ICT, mathematics and physics. From the beginning of their studies, children will settle in the campus of the university, at the end of the third quarter they will move to a new building.
