The UK government may soon legitimize surveillance of its citizens.

The UK may soon become one of the leading states in the field of surveillance of its citizens. This will allow the government, and in particular the police and special services, to monitor their citizens to such an extent that it is an unprecedented violation of the norms adopted in a democratic society.

The law has actually been passed by all current UK politicians, and is only waiting for approval from the Queen. The bill will legalize the UK's global observation program, which collects data from around the world. Also, the new law will allow you to save and view the browser history of citizens throughout the UK. British hackers (special services) will be able to crack individuals, Internet infrastructure, and even entire cities by order, if the government deems it necessary.

Under this bill, the UK government will receive the following opportunities:

• Save and view the browser history of every citizen of the UK for up to one year.
• View the data of installed applications on the phone.
• ICR Internet connection record will be saved. Access time, duration, client IP, domain URL without a full URI and the usual accompanying data that the Internet browser sends in an HTTP request.
• Large IT-companies will be required to decipher certain user data by order.

Data storage will be handled by Internet service providers and mobile operators, which the government will pay for it. The security forces and police will have access to a system known as the “request filter”, to get some data. How it will work is still not clear.
