VoLTE launched in Russia - high quality voice communication

MegaFon announced the launch of the HD Voice in 4G service. The technology, which is called VoLTE (Voice over LTE or “Voice over LTE”), improves call quality by calling data over LTE. During a conversation, 4G connection does not disappear, which provides better multitasking for smartphone users.

The first smartphone that has full VoLTE support on the MegaFon network is the Sony Xperia X, which went on sale this summer.



The smartphone has a five-inch display with a resolution of Full HD (1920x1080). The Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor with 64-bit architecture and 3 GB of RAM provides an impressive speed of work. In addition, Sony Xperia X is equipped with a modern 23MP main camera and 13 MP - front.
