Support Yapplet!

On Yandex.Nano I found an interesting abandoned project - Yapplet . This is the similarity of Yandex.Bar, for Gnome, written in Python. It allows you to see how many new letters have come, the number of new messages in the Ribbon, the balance of money in your wallet. Unfortunately, the project was abandoned “In connection with the transition of the developer to Mac OS X” during the time of the sixth Ubunt and today, installing Yapplet is a problem. The source code is available, but there are few comments and, judging by the unstable work, there are hard-to-catch errors. I would be glad to partially rewrite the project, but my knowledge of Python is not enough. Therefore, I am writing this topic, if someone responds!
