Bagel: the smartest measuring tape in the world

Kickstarter recently launched a fundraising campaign for Bagel Smart Roulette, which can do more than a regular roulette can do. For example, all measurement results are transmitted wirelessly to a smartphone; with this system, important notes can be recorded by voice. All data is stored in the smartphone, where you can analyze everything that was measured. It is very easy to measure with this tape measure - about the same as with a normal one. After measurements, you need to click on the button to save the received data. If necessary, you can record a voice message directly from Bagel.

After that, all data is transmitted via Bluetooth to a smartphone, where they can be analyzed.



The length of the measuring tape is 3 meters - this is enough for most measurements. The tape is very flexible, so that with its help you can find out both the length of the plinth and the girth of your waist.



On the case of the ruler there is a dial, which shows the length of the tape, which the owner removed from the case. You can measure the length of something not only with the help of a tape, it is possible to use a special wheel, which can be useful when measuring the length of the same plinth.

But there is a third measurement tool, the laser. In a small case Bagel was a place for the laser. With it, you can measure the distance to an object that is up to 5 meters away. The measurement results are shown on the dial. Pressing the button saves all measurement results.



As mentioned above, all data is transferred to the app on the smartphone. Together with the measurement result, the date and time are also saved. The application is free, available for both Android OS and iOS.



The case also houses the battery (rechargeable), which lasts for 8 hours with very active use of the device. You can recharge the battery using a micro USB cable.
