Micronik - electronic designer for children. And for adults like me

This weekend I got myself a thing that will seem very simple to many, but I haven’t spent the weekend with such children's passion for a long time. We are talking about the electronic designer " Mikronik ", which was invented in Amperk by Kirill Korotkov and Vasily Basalaev.

A small box includes a lot of elements, the name of which I have not yet learned, and there is a peculiar charm in this: sticking into the small holes of the board unknown miniature parts, which miraculously respond with sound or light.
')
Addressed to a set of young inventors who will use it to discover simple physical laws, as well as be able to master the basic concepts of electronics. Despite the educational and developmental components of this kit, he has no creative leadership. I will explain.

Together with the kit, instructions for assembling 20 “models” are offered, and some even offer advanced features, but how to assemble something “from scratch” using only your own imagination is not explained. But this is not a minus of "Mikronika", but a chance for creative geek-parents to prove themselves!

The category of "designer" was not chosen randomly and very accurately: indeed, in order to assemble one or another device, it is necessary to quite accurately check the holes where the resistors, wiring, piezo-sound emitters and other parts fit. In this case, from device to device, the design is noticeably more complex, overgrown with an increasing number of wires.

In total, the set of about 100 components, many of which are duplicated.

At the same time, for people who, due to external signs, are unable to identify each of them, all the details are kindly collected in separate signed bags.

It is necessary to design on a special board, which is connected to the power source with the help of a terminal block, and in turn it works from three “finger-type” batteries, however, they must already be purchased separately !

Creation instructions are offered in a beautifully illustrated brochure, but throughout the entire workflow you are accompanied by the fictional hero Mikronik, who gives advice on how some models can be improved. The designs themselves are in a strict hierarchy: from simple to complex.

In total, there are 20 options for crafts:

Despite the impressive number of devices that can be created, and a considerable number of components, the box itself, in which all this fits, is extremely compact, and — I don’t want to hint at anything — it fits even under a small Christmas tree:

This is not yet my age for my little ones, but they have learned to light up the lamps holding hands and extinguish it by uncoupling, although I have already made repeated attempts to surprise them with gadgets .

I, in my 28 years, are probably ashamed to admit that I spent several evenings collecting all sorts of glowing and buzzing designs, having mastered the lamp:

Traffic light:

And a sound light sensor with a photodiode. He attracted me by the fact that I recently made headphones with bone conduction technology out of a similar piezo-digger.

Everything is much simpler: the sensor beeps, if there is light, and it is silent, if the light does not come in. True, the sound is already embedded in the element, which means that it will not work as a headphone emitter ... Having listened, you will hear the rattle over children's voices:

( as usual, sorry for the quality )

The price tag is also humane - 990 rubles , which again makes Mikronik a great gift and a good educational and demonstration material.
