Awakening of power: the newborn star announced its appearance as a "lightsaber"

The Hubble telescope the other day sent to Earth an interesting snapshot of a nascent star, which throws jets of matter into the surrounding space. From a distance, it looks like a two-handed lightsaber - what other associations may arise during the release of the next part of Star Wars? The star itself is not located in a distant galaxy, but in ours, at a distance of 1350 light years from Earth, in the constellation Orion.

Now the newborn star is very hungry, and with a huge appetite absorbs the substance of a gas-dust nebula. The result of this absorption is that the very emissions of superheated matter in the form of jets, in opposite directions. In time, the stars should appear and the planets that are formed from the substance of a gas-dust nebula. But this will happen later, when the star is already "saturated."

The gas emitted by a star interacts with dust and gas clouds in the vicinity. The substance of the clouds, respectively, heats up to several thousand degrees. That is what happened in the case of a star from the constellation Orion . Hubble managed to get a picture in the infrared. The luminary itself is closed by a dense gas and dust curtain, so it would not have been possible to take a photo in the visible spectrum.



According to scientists, the “lightsaber” was formed relatively recently, since the size of the jets is still small for this kind of object. The life of the jets is several thousand years.
