UK court denied Trump the possibility of blocking the construction of a wind farm in Scotland

Donald Trump is known to many. This is an outrageous American billionaire who is now participating in the US presidential election. Trump has many different companies, one of which is a luxury golf club in the north east of Scotland. The club was named Trump International Golf Links, and since its opening in 2012 has been constantly expanding. The locals were against the creation of golf courses and the opening of the club itself, but it opened, no matter what.

The local authorities considered that the economic benefits of the active work of Trump International Golf Links are quite large and issued a permit. But now Trump is threatening to halt the development of this facility, as a wind power station with 11 wind generators is being built on the coast, a few miles away. According to the entrepreneur, wind generators will be visible to visitors of the golf club, and for this reason Trump demanded to stop the construction of a wind power station.

Tramp lawyers decided to defend the point of view of their boss in court, arguing that the decision to build a wind farm was made with a number of mistakes. One of them is a contradiction to the law of 1989, and planning of the location of the station is also indicated as a problem.

Nevertheless, the court of Great Britain refused to Trump, and allowed to continue the construction of the onshore wind farm. The Minister of Energy of Scotland has already welcomed the decision of the court, saying that he was very pleased with this decision.

Trump representatives told reporters about their dissatisfaction with the UK court decision. In addition, the company trump announced that it would fight to the end, and oppose the construction of a wind farm "on all fronts." One of the arguments against the construction is the economic inexpediency of creating a wind power station of this size in conditions of cheapening oil.
