Read it. - “tambourine!”
I do not have a 3D printer, and none of my friends and acquaintances, visiting for a visit, does not require access to the device. But I have the source of all 3D printers released in Master Kit. So it happened.
So here.
None of the 3D printers produced by Master Kit can print ABS plastic. In any case, without the "tambourine" described in the last publication. The fact is that all of them are intentionally designed for printing only with PLA-type plastics that are safe for health, because they are intended for home use. Otherwise, the printer during printing ABS will be put on the balcony or even carried away to the garage. Otherwise, the smell of plastic and chemistry in the apartment will not get rid of.
But I want to try this ABS. Understand the difference.
The problem of remaking Masterkitovskih printers for printing ABS plastic is not very big. Electronics allows, the extruder is also very high class. Connect the heated table and go?

There is a snag.
All printers Master Kit print on cold glass. The glass is attached to the guides with plastic parts. The fasteners are different in each printer, but they are all plastic and
deform when heated
! In this trouble.
Change this mount is very simple.
I will show on the example of a 3D printer MC7 . fig.1.

In Figure 2, the plastic parts of the glass table are shown in red.

We pull out the glass of the table, remove four plastic parts. Pic.3

Instead of plastic mounts, we will manufacture 6mm plywood. frame. (Fig.4 and 5)

Making such a frame in some sort of laser company will cost 300 rubles, well, 500 is the biggest. Although, you can try to cut yourself.

With the help of nylon ties we fasten the frame to the guides (Fig.6). If necessary, they can be trimmed with a grinder. Now I do not know how long the guides are in the printer kit. The frame is designed for 190 mm.

Using the screws from the base set, fasten the heating element of the table with a thermistor, and fasten the glass to it with the help of office pins.

You will need three more screws of at least M3x18 size. On two of them pull the transmission belt. And one more will be needed in order to click on the stop stroke limiter. Fig.8 - 10.

Plywood is a heat-resistant material and therefore it will be easy to hold a hot (120) table.
This is how very easy it is to make MC7 a full-fledged 3D printer that prints with any plastic.
All this of course on the drawings. I have not tried it live, but I am sure that there will be no problems.
