Today it became known that the AeroNet group of the National Technology Initiative (NTI) will support the project to develop the SerWert SV5B unmanned aerial vehicle. On its basis, it is planned to create a passenger unmanned air taxi,
according to Izvestia. At the same time, the capabilities of the device are quite good: the take-off weight is up to 1.25 tons, with the flight range up to 1 thousand km.
“At the first stage, the tests will be carried out with cargo, but later, after several test flights, it can already be used as a passenger. The drone is also called the "flying taxi". The fact is that he does not need a pilot - the plane is controlled by the program and the operator from the ground, ”says Aviaton’s general director Avtandil Khachapuridze.
The creation of a working model “SerWert SV5B” requires about 1.5 billion rubles, of which approximately 70% is provided by the AeroNet group. Take-off and landing are possible from platforms with a diameter of up to 30 m. At the same time, the device can take off vertically, like a helicopter, but flights over long distances will be carried out like an airplane.

At the start of serial production, the price of SerWert SV5B will be from $ 700 thousand to $ 1 million.
“The project“ SerWert ”is very promising as a passenger taxi, especially in the absence of airfield infrastructure. If we talk about transportation in rural areas, this machine, in my opinion, will be in demand, ”says Sergey Zhukov, head of the AeroNet group.
The SerVert competitor will be Chinese devices, many of which already exist not only in the form of a drawing, but are already being tested by Chinese experts. One of these devices is the Ehang 184. There are other types of devices, for example, the Flyboard Air hoverboard, which helped its creator fly about 2 km through the air, setting a
new world record .
