“People want to work at home because they are not just busy, but productive,” says Sutton Fell, “Less distractions, more control over the work environment, no need to spend time on the road, less hospital hours, and more pleasure from work — exactly so many people want to work remotely. ”
A new survey conducted by the London Business School and Deloitte showed that a global audience of executives, entrepreneurs, and business academics predicts telework for half the workforce in 2020.
“The more people who work this way, the sooner everyone will realize that this is an opportunity for all professionals, and not just for freelancers,” adds Sutton Fell. ”
And employers are beginning to understand the benefits of working from home, including financial savings, reduced turnover, increased productivity and employee satisfaction. "Companies take an example from other firms in which staff works at home and are implementing a similar policy in their own home."
