At the same time, a robot called Motobot controls not only the usual stock bike, but also a fairly powerful model - the 2015 Yamaha YZF-R1M sports liter model.

The company has been working for several years to create a robot capable of driving stock bikes on the track. Unfortunately, little is known about Motobot - it is mentioned only that driving a motorcycle at high speeds requires the coordinated work of many complex and high-precision systems.

Naturally, the goal of the research is not to create robots that will drive motorcycles instead of people, but to develop a pilot assistance system, like the common auxiliary systems that are being introduced into all modern cars.



“We want to apply the basic technologies and know-how obtained as a result of this experiment to create the latest security systems and help the pilot. In the future, these developments will go both to the development of existing lines of business and the opening of new ones, ”the company said in a press release.
