How to protect the garage from dashing people

Garages are different, it all depends on the imagination and capabilities of the owner. Accordingly, the protection of the garage can be very different: from the simplest to the very sophisticated and expensive.

Today we will talk about how to arm the garage on your own, so that the alarm alert comes to the phone of the garage owner. In addition, our solution will be quite simple.

So, how to put the garage on the arm yourself, so that the alarm alert comes to the phone of the garage owner.

To solve this problem, we need:

• Module MA3401 - autonomous GSM-SMS alarm with temperature control and control function;
• Security detector IO102-16 / 2 ;
• Li-Ion Battery 3.7V;
• Charger with miniUSB connector.

The last two components can be taken from the old mobile phone.

We connect these components according to the picture:



Procedure:

Insert a SIM card into the MA3401 module. Before installing, be sure to remove the PIN and PUK codes, as well as all phone numbers and SMS messages.

Connect the charger to a 220V outlet. Hold the MA3401 power button for more than 5 seconds. Wait for the VD7 LED to flash and the VD1 LED to turn on steady. Call the number of the SIM card installed in the module MA3401. In response, you should receive an SMS message, which will mean that the device is bound to your phone number.

Then secure the IO102-16 / 2 detector to the inside of the door or gate. If necessary, you can install two sensors by connecting them in parallel.

Now, when you open the gate, your phone will be dialed and an SMS alert will be sent.

If there is a need to arm and disarm with a 45 second pause, send an SMS message with the text * # security to the number of the SIM card installed in the module.

Now setting and disarming will occur with a pause of 45 seconds. That will allow you to close and open the gate without triggering an alarm. To do this, just briefly press the power button on the MA3401 module.

If necessary, the module can be placed in a convenient case for you, for example a BOX-FB04 or similar (and the case can be printed on a 3D printer ).

In addition, the capabilities of this alarm can be expanded.

To do this, use any motion sensor with a dry contact, for example, the MP433IR wireless series with the MP325M receiver. Normally closed contacts of the MP325M relay are connected to the “Batton” contacts of the MA3401 module. In this design, the GSM module is conveniently located directly near the power supply, and the PIR motion sensor is located at the required monitoring point.

With this inclusion, the module will additionally notify about the loss of the 220V network.

You can also use the MP433DR2 wireless opening sensor and / or the MP433S wireless smoke sensor . Then the alarm will warn not only about the penetration into the room, but also about a fire.
