All those present at this resource are well aware of what a smart home is. And that the Internet of things is one of the most promising areas for the development of information technology. MediaTek Labs understands this, and therefore invites everyone to an online seminar for developers of solutions for the Internet of things! Participation is free, but registration is required. Traditionally, the webinar will last 30 minutes, then - the question and answer session.

An online seminar from MediaTek Labs will be held on April 7, 2016, where the capabilities of the MediaTek LinkIt real-time operating system (RTOS) will be reviewed. The new MediaTek LinkIt breadboard for real-time operating system (RTOS) is based on the ARM Cortex-M4 processor and provides excellent opportunities for developing various types of Internet of Things devices.
The LinkIt for RTOS was originally developed for MediaTek MT7687F, but supports a variety of chipsets. LinkIt provides convenient operation using both separate toolkits and using common application creation interfaces (APIs) implemented on popular RTOSs. A development board can be used to develop a wide range of IoT devices.
The proposed platform includes a set of software (SDK) and hardware (HDKs) development tools, including communication modules and relevant technical documentation.
The first version works on the “system-on-chip” (SoC) MediaTek MT7687F, providing communication over WiFi. Specifications: 192 MHz microcontroller, 1 × 1 802.11 b / g / n WiFi subsystem, integrated protection system (AES and 3DES / SHA), built-in SRAM / ROM memory and 2 MB flash memory. The new release of the board uses an open source RTOS (TCP / IP, SSL, TLS, HTTP (client and server), SNTP, DHCP, MQTT, XML, JSON). Development and debugging is possible with the help of free tools and plugin KEIL.
During a 30-minute webinar, MediaTek Labs technical consultant Philip Henshin (pictured) will make a detailed review of the new platform on the LinkIt 7687 HDK breadboard developed by Silicon Application Corp. Group (SAC). Philip will also talk about various APIs and free tools with which you can begin developing your project.
