Ship Model 3 customers will begin no earlier than at the end of 2017. At the same time, it is already known that there were 2 times more pre-orders for the car than planned (now more than 270 thousand), so it is not known whether Tesla is able to cope with such a load. It is possible that there will be deadlines. According to Model X, the problems started already now, by the way - instead of 4500 electric vehicles, the company was able to deliver only 2400 in the first quarter. Tesla Motors failed to fulfill the general order, only 14,820 commercial vehicles were delivered.

CEO of the company also said that the average price of Tesla Model 3 will be about $ 42,000 (this is with all taxes, fees, etc.). Earlier it was reported that the cost of the basic version of the machine without taxes will be $ 35,000.
