Query play on Google Autocomplete search queries

"If smart ... then why so poor?" "Why do people ... yawn?" "When did Russia ... sell Alaska?"

Autocomplete’s auto-search feature is a real reference to human curiosity. You can immediately see what excites people the most. This principle is built board game Query . You have to guess what exactly occupies the main place in the mass consciousness on a particular issue.

For example, the beginning of the question "Where ...". Try to guess what the Russians most often ask Google?

That's right, "where is the parcel?". For comparison, in the English version, the continuation of the phrase sounds like “where ... is my mind?”

Guessing search queries was originally humorous fun, but in the fall of 2012 it materialized into a board game. In March 2014, Canadian entrepreneurs successfully collected 12,420 CAD on Kickstarter, and the official launch of the project took place in May last year.

The board game includes a deck of approximately 600 cards, each of which indicates the beginning of the search phrase. For example, "When it rains ..." or "Is that ...". And four answer choices actually taken from Google search results.

Then the fun begins. Each of the players submits to the moderator his own answer, and he reads out all submitted options along with the real answers from the card. Players get points if they manage to fool an opponent and give their option for the real one, or if they really answer the question correctly.

Judging by the photos from the party where they played Query, this is quite an exciting experience.

Now developers are preparing to release a mobile application, which should appear in the spring of 2015. There is also an idea to release an adult-only version of the board game.
