NASA re-launches the robot into the volcano
A man without superpowers will not be able to explore the volcano from the inside. Therefore, NASA developed a robot that is capable of it.
VolcanoBot 1 is a robot geologist inspired by Carolyn Parchety, a volunteer hobby for NASA. Back in school, she witnessed a researcher on a television program taking a sample of lava, and promised herself to do something similar.
The first mission of the robot was to work in the Kilauea volcano in the Hawaiian Islands. As noted in NASA, no one really knows how the eruption occurs, no one has seen the volcano at this moment from the inside. The data obtained by the robot helps scientists create a 3D map of the volcano.

The robot was improved , turning into a more maneuverable VolcanoBot 2. In March of this year, it will follow the tracks of the first robot and investigate cracks in the same volcano in Hawaii.
Parchet is sure that magma most often erupts from cracks, and that this applies not only to Earth, but also to Mars, Europe, Mercury and the Moon. While there are no technologies that are able to explore the cracks and depressions, and over their creation has yet to work - including exploring the volcanoes on the home planet.
