The first case of attempting to write 3D-screen

The unique "pirate" is going to be judged in the UK. A student studying film technology at the University of Birmingham constructed a camera to shoot a 3D movie from the screen, and came with her to the Gravity session. The student took two HD video cameras at the box office and built a body for them, intending to shoot a picture for each of the cameras intended for one of the eyes. This is reported by TorrentFreak .

Since there is no direct punishment for filming a movie in the UK, the student will be tried for attempting to record for the purpose of further illegal distribution of the movie. Interestingly, he did not even have time to go to the hall - he noticed the strange box around his neck and confiscated the cinema guards. The student himself does not deny the fact of creating the device, but claims that he was not going to make an illegal copy of the film.

T.N. “Screenshots”, movies recorded illegally on a video camera in a cinema, remain popular among film fans who can get acquainted with the film for free (albeit in a crappy quality), and continue to gain anti-popularity from film companies who are lobbying for truly draconian laws that should punish such "Operators". For example, in 2014 in Great Britain, a man was sent to a different cell — a prison cell — for a year and a half for shooting a movie on a video camera. However, this case seems to be the first attempt to record a 3D movie.
