The company Hardkernel has released a new version of the 37-dollar mini-PC
In December last year, Hardkernel released a mini-PC model, in many respects similar to the Raspberry Pi. This gadget was called ODROID-C1, and its capabilities significantly exceeded the capabilities of the “raspberry”. So, this mini PC is quite similar to the Raspberry Pi B +, and the form factor and even GPIO connectors are similar. But ODROID-C1 was equipped with a quad-core Cortex-A5 processor with a frequency of 1.5GHz, 1GB DDR3, a gigabit network card and several other attractive buns for the geek. Comparison of both models - in the sequel.
Now there is a new version of Odroid - C1 + . The cost of the device is not $ 35, but $ 37, and its capabilities are even better than those of its predecessor. So, the new mini-PC has a quad-core Amlogic S805 ARM Cortex-A5. ')

What's new in ODROID-C1 +? There is a full-sized HDMI port installed instead of a micro-HDMI. Also, passive cooling is installed, there is an I2S-bus for HiFi, plus CEC functions are supported without a backup RT-battery.
The developers claim that the compatibility of SD cards is improved in the new model, and the energy comes through the USB OTG port, so that the power source can be either a USB cable or a regular DC adapter.
The remaining features have not changed much - here 1 GB of RAM, a slot for microSD memory cards, with the possibility of increasing the capacity up to 64 GB. There is a gigabit Ethernet port, two USB 2.0 ports, a micro-USB pore 40-pin GPIO, compatible with accessories for the “raspberry”. The size of the mini PC is only 3.4 * 2.2 inches.
