As is well known, Blue Origin, created by Jeff Bezos (head of Amazon),
was able to successfully launch its return vehicle, New Shepard, into space and return the first stage to Earth. Then she also managed to run and
plant again . Despite the fact that the complexity of launching and landing this suborbital rocket is not as high as that of SpaceX's Falcon 9, it is still an outstanding achievement.
The other day Bezos posted a video of the landing, served from an unusual angle - the side of the first stage. The length of the video is only six seconds, but it's still worth a look: you can see how the rocket prepares the “legs” and starts the engines when landing.
As
previously reported, the principle of landing New Shepard is somewhat different from the principle of landing Falcon 9. Thus, the main task of the Blue Origin rocket is damping the speed and positioning of the rocket relative to the level of landing. In Falcon 9, the accuracy of positioning relative to the landing site is added to this (since it is planned to land the first step on the offshore platform).

Let me remind you that the New Shepard will not fly as high and far as the Rocket Mask. On the contrary, its task is to deliver space tourists to a height of 100 kilometers, where they will be able to admire the opening views for 4 minutes. After this, the rocket returns to Earth, and the capsule with the tourists lands separately, and the stage of the carrier separately. On why you can not compare the New Shepard and Falcon 9 can be read
here .
Well, let's remember how it looked from the outside:
