Pythagorean theorem forever

It is summer now, and September 1 will soon come, and millions of children will go to school to nibble at the granite of science, acquire knowledge and skills. We also decided to devote some time to the educational part and visualize the Pythagorean theorem using 3D technologies. So that the one who puts this puzzle together or at least sees how it develops, he will remember forever one of the main theorems of Euclidean geometry.

As you know, there is no smoke without fire. Initially, this video came across with a model of the Pythagorean theorem, but with a liquid.

The video itself is wonderful, many people remembered their school years and felt sad when they remembered only dry formulas and, as a result, confusion in their heads, but let's not talk about sad things. Now such exhibits are increasingly found in the educational process, but not all schools have the opportunity to make such an exhibit with liquid, but 3D printers in schools or students have already begun to appear.

Therefore, we decided to design a 3D print. One of the problems of most printers is a work area, and if you want to make a visual aid, then you need a printer (or an expensive one) or break it into pieces.

A triangle with sides of multiples of 3.4 and 5, i.e. that equality 25 = 16 + 9 is fulfilled. The size of the side of the block, ~ 20 mm, is chosen so that it is convenient to take it and so that this graphic design can be placed freely on a desk or desk.
Everything is going on the pins, you can glue the joints after assembly. The inside of the triangle is also held by these six pins. A separate part is needed to visually emphasize the projection of the sides of the triangle on the inner contour of the attached squares.

When a simple assembly is completed, you can proceed to laying blocks, symbolizing "squares in the plane." The blocks are printed in two colors so that for each square of the leg there is a different color, and after putting them in the square of the hypotenuse, they must fill it completely.

There are many ways to prove the Pythagorean theorem , but the main thing is to understand and remember the essence, so that you can successfully use it in practice.
