The American company Sealed Air has released a film with bubbles that do not burst
Dear fellow citizens, colleagues, readers. Ladies and Gentlemen. Comrades. People. I have to tell you the most unpleasant news. The American company has attacked the holy of holies, the generally accepted instrument of therapy and relaxation, the reason why we like to buy new electronics, and people working in warehouses not only do not go crazy with the daily routine, but also gradually learn Zen.

Chpok Chpok: How much of these sounds For our heart has merged. How many of them responded.
The reason for the tragedy is simple: business. It is no secret that the pimply film takes up a lot of space in the form of rolls due to its main feature - the presence of air inside. The air in the bubbles serves as a damper and does not allow those sensitive parts and devices that are wrapped in film to beat and break. But its main advantage at the same time turns around and the main drawback - too much volume increases the cost of transportation and storage in warehouses. The film takes up a lot of space. The solution to this problem was the release of a new type of film: it comes in relatively small rolls in a compressed form, and is inflated with a special apparatus already at the place of use, for example, in a warehouse. The new film is 47 times smaller than the old rolls. Unfortunately, the technology of making a new film is such that it produces more bubbles and they do not burst.
In order to slightly dilute the dark colors, I’ll inform you that the company is not planning to completely abandon the old version of the film. The turnover of this business in 2013 alone amounted to $ 20 billion. Machines for inflating a new film also cost money. And of course, there are always alternative manufacturers.
Despite the fact that the film was invented almost 60 years ago, in 1957, and introduced to the market in 1960, it still remains the main packaging material. The versatility, simplicity, reliability and relatively low price make it an indispensable attribute of warehouses, shops and delivery services. The patent for the film expired in 1981. True, representatives of Sealed Air Corporation believe that their proprietary production technology of the "correct" film is still a trade secret.
It is difficult to predict whether completely familiar pimples will disappear from warehouses. While the cost of the apparatus for inflating a new film in the United States is $ 5,500, by 2017 the company hopes to reduce their cost to $ 1,000.
"Burst bubbles" like so many people, from babies to old people. There are communities of bubble wrap. The Russian advertising agency Sorec-Media in 2004 came up with a calendar-based calendar, where every day he was assigned to his bubble, and it had to be gradually “burst”. A Japanese inventor created a silicone toy Bandai Mugen Puchipuchi , aka “Puti Puti”, imitating the sensation of bursting film bubbles.
