Extended Mail Subscription

I rarely use rss. I find out about all the answers to my topic / comment only through mail. In many foreign topics, I would also like to receive comments on my email. It would be nice next to the button "subscribe to rss" would be another "subscribe to the mailing list." I want to know the opinion of the community: do many need it or am I the only one?
