Start 7 W - LED lamp from Pyaterochka and Dixie

In Pyaterochka and Dixie stores throughout the country, the only model of LED lamps sold - Start 7W. It costs about 270 rubles.

I bought and tested this lamp.

There are no complaints about the design of the lamp - it has a wide angle of illumination - 184 ° (although the manufacturer claims fantastic 340 °).

The lamp has a good driver - it works correctly with switches that are backlit and does not flicker. But the trouble with LEDs is a terrible color rendering index 61.3 and a luminous flux of 332 Lm instead of the promised 560 Lm.

Measurement results using instruments Viso LightSpion and Lupine .

The box indicates that the lamp is capable of replacing an incandescent lamp with a power of 60 watts. In fact - only 40 watts.

The measured color temperature of the lamp is close to the stated - 2877K (3000K declared). Visually, the light is similar to incandescent light, but there is a feeling that something is not right. The reason for this is the low color rendering index (CRI) due to which the colors of the illuminated objects are distorted, and the close colors (for example, shades of orange) appear to be the same.

In the photographs, the light turns green. Most likely, this happens again because of the low CRI. Here is the comparison of the light of the Start lamp with the incandescent light of 60 W.

This is a comparison with a Philips 7.5W LED lamp, giving an honest 567 lm.

All photos were taken in manual exposure mode with a fixed white balance setting (3500K, ISO125, F1.8, 1/30). At the time of photographing the voltage in the network was 225 V.

The lamp was released in October 2014.

This lamp is not on the manufacturer's website. Now they have a completely different assortment (and, I hope, good) lamps. However, these lamps, apparently, produced a lot, and they are sold throughout the country.

According to GOST R 54815-2011, the measured initial luminous flux of an LED lamp must be at least 90% of the nominal luminous flux. In this case, the measured luminous flux is only 59% of the nominal value, thus lamps selling in stores that grossly violate the requirements of GOST.

Unfortunately, GOST does not standardize the CRI values, which according to scientists for residential premises should be at least 80, and this lamp, I will remind, only 61.3.

All the results of my tests LED lamps look at lamptest.ru . Do not let yourself be deceived!
