JB-9 jetpack pilot flew around the Statue of Liberty

A worthy competitor is JetPack Aviation , which is working on a personal backpack JB-9. Unlike the previous version, which is delivered to a predetermined height by another aircraft, this backpack allows you to take a vertical take-off, fly for a while and make a soft landing on the ground.

JetPack Aviation jetpack models are several, or more precisely nine. The company has been working on the creation of this system for more than eight years. The license for flights from the relevant authorities has already been obtained. The designer of the device is David Meyman, and the project manager and pilot is Nelson Tyler. Interestingly, Tyler received as many as three Oscars for the original technical solutions in the films.
