NASA built transport to travel on other planets
The US space agency NASA demonstrated a prototype of the new Modular Robotic Vehicle, developed jointly with major automotive concerns. MRV was created in order to function in the harsh conditions of other planets, such as, for example, Mars.
Visually, MRV resembles golf cars. It works on battery-powered electric motors. All four wheels move independently and can be rotated 180 °, which adds to the maneuverability of the car. The maximum speed is about 64 km / h, although at the moment it is limited to 24 km / h. Weight is about 900 kg, and dimensions - 2.13x1.52 m.
