This was announced by CERN spokesman James Gillis, RIA Novosti reports. “Everything went well, we are very pleased,” Gillis told Swiss ATS. He said that during the tests, in particular, the synchronization of the collider and the proton supersynchrotron (SPS), a preliminary particle accelerator, was checked.
