Romanian police arrested a 63-year-old woman for copyright infringement using BitTorrent. The arrest took place in the city of Cluj-Napoca, a criminal case was opened.
As part of the investigation, the police found out that the suspect had made a significant number of music albums, films and other content publicly available, without the appropriate permission of the copyright holders. Perhaps this is the oldest woman in the world who can be condemned for using torrents. In 2011, a similar case occurred in Scotland: a 58-year-old woman was sentenced to three years probation.

In 2012, in Finland, the police broke into the house of a 9-year-old suspect in copyright infringement and confiscated a laptop with Winnie the Pooh. The crime was to download the music album of the Finnish pop singer Kisu in 2011, for which the girl’s father was fined
600 euros .
