Web game with the landing of SpaceX Falcon 9 on the sea platform
To land a rocket on an offshore platform is an extremely difficult task. SpaceX didn’t even think to solve it the first time, and the “failures” of the last experiments with the Falcon 9 landing were actually planned failures. They gave information to improve the algorithm and refine the system to a normal level.
The SpaceX Falcon 9 Lander physical simulator demonstrates how incredibly difficult it is to maintain balance when the center of gravity is high above and the engines are below the rocket. To date, SpaceX has made three "unsuccessful" attempts to land Falcon 9 on the platform. Try to play SpaceX Falcon 9 Lander - and you probably will have more such attempts. ')
The task of the game is to slow the descent of the rocket and gently land it. The spacebar button launches a new level of difficulty. Control the arrows or buttons W, A, S, D. Watch for the rest of the fuel!
The game is based on the original Lunar Lander simulator, developed by the MIT Media Lab. Apparently, it is much easier to land the vehicle on the lunar platform than to land a rocket on a sea platform.
