14-year-old boy arrested for bringing homemade watches to school



In the city of Irving (Texas), a 14-year-old schoolboy named Ahmed Mohamed (Ahmed Mohamed) was detained by police and placed in a cell for further interrogation . The boy’s fault was only that he had made an electronic clock at home and brought them to school to show the teacher. But the teacher did not reach the teacher. The homemade clock is made of a printed circuit board with multiple wires, an electronic display and a hologram of a tiger. The teacher foresaw the problems, so he warned Ahmed in advance that the work should be hidden from all other teachers and school administrations, and be carried in unnoticed. The guy did it, but when he was in class, the clock peeped in his backpack. The call quickly arrived the police. The student was detained, and his research project was confiscated.



The student was released after his parents arrived at the police station. School principal Dan Cummings (Dan Cummings) then made a public apology . True, in the letter he mentioned that it’s "undesirable for children to bring forbidden things to school." It is not entirely clear what he means here and whether he fully realized his mistake.
