This impulse is associated with my despair, for I have been choosing a CMS for the studio for 2 months already. And oh, horror! I can find nothing worthy.
The essence is as follows. I am an average project manager, an average Russian regional web studio. For the time being, they sat on their CMS and poorly coped. And one day I realized that it is absolutely not suitable for a number of reasons, I will not go into them, but the point is that the system is assembled on my knees and letting it in for something serious - death is like.
And then it is time Ch. The time to choose a decent CMS, commercial or non-commercial is not important.
Here are the brief requirements:
In general, there is a task for typical websites to be built by an average web developer, with confident knowledge of HTML + CSS and website building principles (I don’t say about designers, designers, etc., they are there in the process).
Here is what went over, and not one did:
I do not want to offend the developers, but the feeling that all CMS are created by programmers for programmers (or it is not clear whom it is not clear for whom), and not programmers for people. Tell me, who uses what, or can someone lead the argument to one of the above CMS, why should it be used? I would be extremely grateful.
And I also asked myself what kind of CMS are used by state and European studios. Not really all sitting on their designs? Googled, found nothing. Even decent commercial bourgeois CMS.

- Ability to customize modules;
