(Do not judge strictly: the first post. Tell me how to make them better.)
No need to explain the convenience of synchronizing bookmarks - it is obvious. I used to use Google Sync, but since FF3 they stopped supporting it.
In search of a convenient replacement, I tried all the most popular bookmarking services. They provide a lot of new features (tags, ratings, etc.), but for me the main purpose - convenient work and cataloging with your favorites - does not solve. For example, it does not seem convenient to me that to open some bookmarks, I first need to load the service page. It is also not convenient that they all follow a common list, without a hierarchy. Bookmarks from the Google panel are also not convenient, as they are listed.
In short, I wanted the usual browser bookmarks, but the same at home and at work.
I came to the decision to use Yandex bookmarks.
In Yandex the most convenient bookmarks in my opinion:
1. Arranged in folders, as usual.
2. Sorted alphabetically automatically, conveniently.
3. When connecting, “Yandex. Bar” is accessible without the need to load a page, quickly.
4. If YandexBar infuriates, you can turn it off in the View menu, and the bookmark button (and a couple more useful features of Yandex.Bar, such as traffic jams, weather), pull out, for example, Google Panels on the panel , beautiful.
As a result, in my Fox there is a panel from Google, but which adds weather and traffic jams from Yandex and its bookmarks, which now have the same, neat, familiar, convenient bookmarks on all machines.
Here's what it looks like:
