Twitter added group private messages and video shooting and editing.
Twitter added new features to the service: group private messages, in which up to 20 users can participate, and shooting, editing and publishing videos up to 30 seconds in duration from a mobile application. The social network continues to add features previously available to users of third-party services.
Group DM on Twitter.
Group DM will allow Twitter users to chat with several friends without third-party applications. Messages can be sent to any member of the social network, regardless of whether there is a subscription from one side or the other. Up to 20 users can participate in the correspondence. This will allow the social network to retain members.
Using the mobile application, you can record video up to 30 seconds and edit it. IPhone owners can already publish videos, and an update for an Android application will be released later. The new feature also aims to retain users: participants will spend time in the app, publishing videos and watching it without having to go to other sites. The video capture interface retains the features of the Vine social network acquired by the service. This feature is useful to advertisers who are looking for ways to reach an audience.
