Sims for free communication in WhatsApp will be available in February

The Italian operator Zeromobile announced a WhatSim SIM card, with which you can exchange text messages in a WhatsApp messenger of any volume in 150 countries of the world for € 10 a year. The WhatSim SIM card will work in networks of over 400 operators in 150 countries - including in Russia and other countries that are popular with Russian tourists.

The WhatSim project was invented by the founder of Zeromobile, 38-year-old Italian entrepreneur Manuel Zanello . Zanello positions Zeromobile as the “first global mobile operator”, and WhatSim allows you to use the popular WhatsApp messenger. 90% of his entrepreneur contacts use this messenger, and in general, in his words: “Now are the days of WhatsApp”. Delivery of SIM-cards will start from February 26, 2015.

For € 10 per year, WhatSim owners will be able to send and receive any number of text messages, GPS coordinates or contacts from their phone book using Whatsapp. Sharing other content will be more expensive : for example, in Russia, EU countries, Turkey, the United States and Thailand, sending or receiving a photo will cost € 0.10, video - € 0.50, voice messages - € 0.025. Shipment of photos in the Caucasus or China costs € 0.375, in India € 0.7, in Iraq and Morocco € 1. (Prices in rubles deliberately do not cite, for obvious reasons).
