Highlighting new posts
That opened a new super-Habr, in which there are enough new innovations, both positive and not so. About one of those that "not really" I would like to write.
Namely: the selection of new messages in the comments. Previously, everything was simple and tasteful: it was framed and new posts were clearly visible, now it is simply highlighted in the spirit of:
It is very faded and you have to break your eyes to get new ones in the feed. Against the backlight as such, I do not mind, just make it more intelligible, lowering the current # F8F8FF at least to # F2F2FF:
As the saying goes, "... feel the difference."

UPD: It turns out everything is much worse than I thought. If on my LCD you can see the difference, then some do not even see that the backlight function is still there. I'll try to add more colors (# E8E8FF):
