Self-made bot writes erotic stories

A familiar programmer told her that it took at least 750,000 words to train a neural network, so the search for texts took some time. She downloaded works from several specialized electronic libraries, where erotica is published under the Creative Commons license, and also asked the authors to share their novels for the experiment.

For learning "erotic bot" took the free program char-rnn - a multi-level recurrent neural network that learns to predict the next letters in the sequence. On samples of eroticism like “Immortal Simpsons” from the Daniela library, the neural network should have learned to compose the corresponding words and sentences.

Then Daniela registered at the Terminal cloud service, uploaded the collected texts there and started the char-rnn in the virtual machine.



The virtual machine did not cost too much: $ 0.006 per hour. After several days of training, Erotibot was ready to compose his own works.
