The dominance of the same strange picture was found on Imgur

Analysis of more than a million randomly selected URLs from the hosting of Imgur images revealed a strange anomaly. Some images are found unusually often: one strange picture returned to 0.833% of all URLs with images. Extrapolation to the entire Imgur database gives us the result of 3.2 million copies of the same image.

Imgur used to generate file names of five characters (aZ, 0-9), such as BOOBs.jpg , and in 2013 it expanded to seven characters. The study was conducted only on five-character file names.

Of the 1,001,506 requested 573,156 URLs returned an error 404. But from the rest of the occupied addresses, as many as 3568 are the picture of the person at the top. The researchers called him "rich uncle" or "Mr. Monopoly" (Monopoly Man), as on the cover of the game "Monopoly".

In second place is the white line (2652). In third place - "water" (Vodafone phones, 1601 result). These pictures, it turns out, are also downloaded in million quantities.
