One emergency landing. Two months of waiting. The record was accomplished: Andre Borschberg flew over the ocean without a single drop of fuel. The pilot spent 4 days in the air, 22 hours and one minute, flying 8279 kilometers across the Pacific Ocean from the Japanese Nagoya Airport to American Hawaii.

Solar Impulse 2 flew on June 29 from the airport in the Japanese city of Nagoya. For almost five days, Andre Borschberg spent two cubic meters in the cockpit. This is the longest of the thirteen flights in the framework of the round-the-world journey of the "solar" aircraft. The pilot slept several times a day for fifteen to twenty minutes, using self-hypnosis and meditation techniques, and
ate eleven times a day with food prepared by Nestle experts.
