The authors of The Model 01 are going to change this situation and for this purpose on the Kickstarter platform, they launched a campaign to raise money for their development.
The developers promise us a completely new product. The keyboard should be as responsive, comfortable and easy to use. Outwardly, The Model 01 resembles a butterfly. The keyboard is divided into two "wings", each of which contains about half of the standard keyboard layout. The familiar space is now placed under the thumb of the right hand, and its shape is also changed. There are also keys ctrl, alt and shift, they are also duplicated on the left half of the device.

The keyboard supports alternative layouts, such as the Dvorak, for example. The authors promise a smooth keystroke and programmable backlight. True, they warn that for a confident use of the device it will be necessary to train for a month or two. However, when you fully master the printing on such a device, you will be able to perform all your actions up to two times faster than on conventional keyboards.
This increase in productivity will greatly help people whose work is constantly associated with typing. For example - writers or scientists.
