Lenovo has built in a projected keyboard smartphone
The projector increases the size of the smartphone. But there is a way to make it useful: add a keyboard that can be displayed on any surface. Lenovo implemented this idea and introduced the Smart Cast concept smartphone.
Samsung has at least twice built projectors into their smartphones . The first time was the Galaxy Beam with a picoprojector of 15 lumens in 2012. The second was the Galaxy Beam 2 in April 2014.

Lenovo in October 2014 at a presentation in London showed a 13.3-inch tablet with a projector Lenovo Tablet 2 Pro. The device has a convex battery, and in the same part of the body placed the projector. The tablet, though light, differs in large size, so every time you take such a gadget with you is not very convenient. The idea with the projector Lenovo decided to implement in the smartphone.
At Lenovo Tech World, the company showed the concept of Lenovo Smart Cast . This is the world's first smartphone with a laser projector, and not with a DLP-projector. The smartphone has two modes: a projection on the wall and a projection on a horizontal surface, which allows you to use the virtual keyboard.
One of the important advantages of a smartphone with a projector is that you can see different content on the main screen and on the projector, that is, to play and watch the show at the same time.
Since we are talking about a smartphone, that is, a rather compact gadget, Lenovo had to make the world's smallest module with a laser projector.
The smartphone in action can be viewed on the video taken by one at the event.
