Google I / O Extended in Moscow

Every year, Google holds its own Google I / O conference. It presents the latest news, concepts or updates to existing products. The Moscow group GDG (Google Developer Group) holds a side event in Moscow on May 28 in the evening. No, we are not Google and are not commercially associated with it, so the event will be in a democratic format with the “right of the microphone” for everyone.


I / O Extended is not the first time and bumps and experience have already been collected. The main innovation is that now any participant can be integrated into our program on the spot, 30 minutes of total time is allocated for this.

Recently, the Chromecast and Android TV platforms received a common Google Cast framework for streaming media content to a TV. At the event, you can have fun with Chromecast and Android TV and there will be time to think about ideas.
Due to the relative complexity of the technology, the implementation of prototypes will be homework. After some time, another meeting will be announced (most likely in the Google office) where the results will be presented. The best team will get Chromecast for everyone and posting on the Google Russia blog.
