CBS Channel launches Supergirl series
Good news for all DC comics fans. Channel CBS announced the release of the next film adaptation of the famous comics. This time, film adaptation subjected to stories about one of the most famous heroines of DC Comics - "Supergirl".
And already according to the thumbnails of “Arrows”, “Flash” and “Daredevil”, the movie about “Supergirl” will be presented to us in the form of a multiseries film.
The director of the series was the American Greg Berlanti, whose latest works were the films "People of the Future" and "Flash". It was also announced that the main role in the film will be entrusted to the “Loser” star, actress Melissa Benoist. She is to embody on the screen the image of a girl born on the planet Krypton named Kara Zor-El. Her cousin is not anybody, but Superman himself. Together they arrived on Earth, but for the time being were forced to hide their origin. After 24 years, Kara decides to uncover superhuman abilities, using them in the name of Good.

Now the managers of the channel determine the broadcasting time of the series, considering that its target audience is young action fans. Numerous sources suggest that CBS will broadcast "Supergirl" on Sundays at 20:00 or in tandem with one of the science fiction TV series - "Under the Dome", "Outside" or "Zoo" - in the summer.
In addition to Benoist, the series will play Kyler Lee, Calista Flockhart, David Harwood and Mehkad Brooks.
