Microsoft Word 2007 Usability

Why have seen a lot of articles and interviews where they say that learning a new kind of microsoft office is difficult "and expensive to produce." I have been using office 2007 for quite a while now and am absolutely delighted with usability. As a minimalist lover, everything can be easily and quickly removed leaving only the main thing and even if I need something in two clicks I can get it. and moreover, I know where things are.
