Today it became known that the Tesla Motors website, as well as Ilona Mask's twitter account, had been hacked. In addition, Tesla Motors twitter account was hacked. At the very beginning, the attackers gained control of the Tesla account on Twitter, after which several strange messages began to appear here, for example, a free electric car was offered, which can be obtained by calling a certain phone number. The account itself has been renamed to #RIPPRGANG.



After that, a very strange collage appeared on the Tesla website, if you can call it that.

By the way, in one of the messages a certain @rootworx was mentioned, and his phone number was given. @rootworx then unsubscribed that has nothing to do with everything that happens:

Currently receiving about 5 phone calls a minute about a "free Tesla". A free car is not being offered, please stop calling.

Later, the account and Ilona Mask himself was hacked.



Now Tesla and Mask accounts are back to normal. The site of the company also returned to its original state.
