SpaceX has published a full video with the fall of the first stage of the Falcon 9

A few minutes ago, the company SpaceX posted on YouTube a full video with the fall of the first stage of the Falcon 9 rocket, which occurred on April 14 after trying to land a stage on a special ship on the high seas. The publication was provoked by the leakage of this video. Before that, another version of the same video was available, but it is shorter (6 seconds) and has significantly lower quality.

FullHD (1080p) resolution video lasts 22 seconds, it shows how the rocket reaches the ship “Just read the instructions”, how four pillars of aluminum and carbon fiber are revealed. After this, the stage sets, but then overturns. For unknown reasons, the drop point was not shown in the earlier video. It is well seen that the reactive control system is struggling to prevent a fall, but it lacks power. After a fall an explosion occurs, small fragments fly around.

April 14, at 23:10 Moscow time , the launch of the Falcon 9 rocket took place , which put into orbit a Dragon space truck carrying almost 2 tons of food, scientific experiments and equipment. This is the sixth launch of this truck to the ISS (there will be 12 of them altogether) and the eighth flight as a whole. Two days after launch, the ship will be caught by a manipulator and attached to the station, and in another five weeks the capsule will land near the California coast. The second task of the launch on April 14 was the landing of the first stage of the rocket on the barge "Just read the instructions" (Just Read the Instructions). This is the third attempt, and it also ended in failure.
