Retroreflective "Paint of Life" from Volvo

The production of related products is the norm. Manufacturers offer cables and adapters, alcoholic drinks - drinking water. Volvo has gone beyond its competitors and offers a product that is needed on the road, but not to car buyers, but to other road users, cyclists and, possibly, to those who are running. Volvo is promoting its reflective paint called "Life Paint" .

In many countries, laws were passed on the use by cyclists and pedestrians of reflective elements (flickers) in the dark to increase their visibility on the road and prevent accidents. Many ignore this practice because of the inconvenience and inappropriate appearance of flicker on clothes, and the very principle of attachment on the arm or leg did not always provide sufficient visibility for the driver. In Volvo, this was taken into account and now the company proposes to use a special transparent spray, the particles of which have retroreflective properties.

The slogan of an advertising campaign for a new product is quite prosaic: “The best way to survive in an accident is not to get into an accident.”



According to information from the product promotion site, 19,000 road accidents involving cyclists occur annually in the UK. According to company representatives, by using Paint of Life, by 2020, this kind of accident can be completely avoided. Understandably, these statistics should not be counted accidents and force majeure.

According to the manufacturer, the spray is colorless, safe for health and does not react with the metals, plastics or materials from which the clothes are made, however, it allows "to make the invisible visible."

If the development of the auto concern will gain popularity, then in addition to making serious profits, Volvo will be able to save tens of thousands of lives.
