iGrado are portable open-head headphones.
iGrado are indispensable in two situations: for athletes due to a strong fit and for those who wear a headdress and cannot use classic headphones with a bow over the head. The letter "i" in the title has nothing to do with Apple, and it means the second generation "Improved" - improved.

')
iGrado comes in a blister pack and only headphones are included as standard. For those who plan to connect headphones to the stationary technology, it is worthwhile to separately purchase an adapter from a 3.5 mm plug to 6.3 mm.

The iGrado case is made of lightweight dark brown plastic. The headband is placed on the back of the head. Ear hooks in theory should lie on the ears, but in practice the headphone clamp is sufficient to ensure that the headphones are fixed only at the expense of ear cushions. Visually, it seems that the headphone cups have a turning mechanism relative to the bow, but the design is rigidly fixed.

Headphones are open, and, accordingly, the surrounding world is well audible in them (and around your music). Accordingly, iGrado headphones are well suited for a non-noisy street and are not suitable for traveling in noisy vehicles, such as the metro.

If the benefits of iGrado for athletes are quite obvious, then who else will be relevant headphones with a neck of the neck? iGrado will be relevant to those who wear a hat in the summer (for example, a hat with a wide brim), over which the usual overhead headphones do not wear.

Headphone wire is soft and visually durable. The length of the wire corresponds to the standard 1.2 meters for portable headphones.

To assess the sound quality, we used the player
Hidizs AP100 .
Due to the fact that the caps in iGrado are the same as in the Grado 60i, the sound largely overlaps, and given the price categories, the price / quality ratio for the iGrado is at a very high level.
At the expense of other (smaller in size) ear cushions, the iGrado has a slightly smaller stage, but a denser bass. The main advantages include the lack of sharpness in sound, good sensitivity and natural bass, without hypertrophied infranis. iGrado, respectively, best of all copes with classical music, jazz and ambient.

Measurements in the
Reference Audio Analyzer laboratory showed that iGrado headphones have a fairly even frequency response. In the low-frequency range, the decay begins from 50 Hz, which corresponds to a similar decline in acoustic systems with a woofer under 6-7 inches. In the high-frequency region, the decay begins from 18 kHz. Headphones will be just right for those who often listen in parallel to speaker systems and are not ready to constantly adjust and get used to the specific frequency balance of other headphones (too much bass, etc.).
The headphone resistance is 33 ohms and has no noticeable effect on the frequency response of the output impedance of the amplifier. Those. iGrado can be connected to different sources without fear that the headphones will change their sound.
