Fifth generation Wi-Fi network launched in Krasnoyarsk

The fifth generation Wi-Fi network is launched in Krasnoyarsk and Novokuznetsk. Currently there is one Wi-Fi point in operation, in the network coverage area, more than 1.5 thousand people registered in one week. Later, the network will be deployed in the largest shopping centers of cities where there is a representative office of Transtelecom. Fifth generation Wi-Fi provides high speed and stability of the connection.

The network uses the IEEE 802.11ac standard. The project is planned to recoup by attracting retail subscribers of home broadband Internet access and through advertising.
