Smart handles for the bike with navigation and search
A new startup offers an interesting gadget for cyclists - SmrtGrips . The device is a replacement for standard bicycle handles. An electronic device makes cyclist life easier. With it, you can find a parked bike in the parking lot - the application on the smartphone shows the direction and distance to the great. Navigation is supported without interruption from the drive - after building a route on a smartphone, the handles with vibrations prompt you turns. If you are traveling as a company, or walking with children, the device will tell you when a member of the group moved too far. In addition, the gadget will help you find your great, if you forgot where you left it (or it was stolen), and it is beyond the reach of Bluetooth. You send a request to the server, and when one of the SmrtGrips users connected to the network passes by your bike, its device will automatically detect the device in your bike and transmit information about it to the server. It is not yet clear how reliable the device will be (the bike usually falls on the handles) and how well it will be protected from theft.
The creators of the startup plan to bring it to IndieGoGo in January. On their website, you can still subscribe to a notice about the start of preliminary sales. Unfortunately, neither the approximate price of the device, nor its technical characteristics, such as the time it takes to work from a single charge, is known yet. Surely the novelty will be interesting to all lovers of cycling, and will be especially relevant in European countries, where both bicycles and various gadgets are popular. ')
